Born and raised in Northern California, Juli DuBois was born with her life long love of words. From a very young age, Juli has been a voracious reader. Juli completed reading her first book "Little House in the Big Woods", by Laura Ingalls Wilder, at the tender age of five years old. At the age of 9 Juli decided that she wanted to be a writer when she grew up! In grade, middle and High Schools, it was not uncommon to find Juli sitting by the side of her locker reading yet another book. To this day, Juli continues to read as many as 10 books a week. Even the backs of cereal boxes will capture her attention!

Juli has spent over 25 years working with children (and their parents) at the Federal, State and Local levels, as well as in the private sector. Having studied Psychology and utilizing that for most of her adult working life, Juli decided that the time had come for her to combine her two great loves - Children and Books. And so, her childhood dream of being a writer was realized!

Juli resides in the beautiful state of Colorado with her awesome-riffic son, Colter, and big sweetheart of a boxer, Kixx. Juli spends her life doing exactly what she's always dreamed of doing; helping children embrace and love their unique originality and purpose -while helping their parents do the same - as a Transformational Life and Parenting Coach, writing, playing with her son, singing, dancing and laughing.
